Tia began practicing yoga as a form of exercise and after committing to a regular practice, she immediately fell in love with its positive benefits -- not only the physical ones. Through yoga, she began to feel a deeper connection to herself and the world around her. Tia decided to further this appreciation of the practice by completing yoga teacher training, and graduated from Tula Yoga in 2018. She is now a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance.

Whether she's reconnecting after a long, hectic day at her corporate job (or at dawn before embarking on a new one),‪Tia aims to incorporate the practice and its positive energy into all aspects of her life. Through focusing on the breath, and its connection to movement, she continues to evolve the balanced and healthy lifestyle she's always loved. Tia’s yoga classes combine music and movement (which she loved as a young dancer) with the core elements of yoga, resulting in a fun and unique sequence suitable for all levels. Tia intends to use yoga to teach others about the many positive aspects it brings to our lives each time we come to the mat, and about the spirit of community and peace that the yoga philosophy can bring to our lives long after we have left the mat.  She is looking forward to helping you find the inner peace we all have within us and is excited to be part of your life’s journey as you travel the yoga path.
